Kurzweil 1000 and JAWS

Hi, I have a new version of Kurzweil 1000 software. I'm using it on a laptop that is about a year and a half old. It scanns things okay, except forms. For some reason, I can't fill out a form once it's been scanned into my computer. It messes up the format of the page. Is this because the form isn't printed out? Also, I have Jaws 8.0 on my laptop. It worked fine until about a month ago. Now, when I'm online, It doesn't like to read a lot of combo boxes. This really starting to interfere with my online shopping habbit. Do I need a new version of Jaws? If so, should I purchase a whole new version, or can I just get the updates. Whatever tips you may have would be very helpful. I'd like to put my scanner to good use, since my work purchased it. Thanks a lot.

Sorry, I can’t help you, but I have the same problem with combo boxes. I have JAWS 7.0 on a desktop, and haven’t been able to read combo boxes since I installed this version. I’m glad you brought this up and hopefully someone can help us out.

my best advice would be to update if you can. especially jaws 7, it's really starting to struggle with things now. 9 would be good for both of you jaws wise if you can get it
